Church Covenant

  • We commit ourselves to participating in God’s mission by inviting others to belong to His family.

We pledge to pray for those who are spiritually lost (Romans 10:1; 1 Timothy 2:1-4).

We will remain attentive to God’s guidance, seizing every opportunity to witness His work in our lives (Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Peter 3:15).

We endeavor to live as a blessing to those around us, inviting unbelievers to our dinner tables (Genesis 12:2-3; Colossians 4:5-6).

  • We dedicate ourselves to faithful apprenticeship to Jesus Christ, growing in belief by aligning our lives with Jesus.

We commit to spiritual growth by consistently turning our thoughts to Jesus through prayer, contemplation, personal worship, and Sabbath observance (Philippians 4:8; Matthew 11:28-30).

We seek to deepen our relationship with Jesus through regular reading and meditation on God’s Word, as well as through periods of silence and solitude (Psalm 1:2; Joshua 1:8; Mark 1:35).

We pledge to both mentor and be mentored within the community, offering and receiving admonition, encouragement, and counsel (Hebrews 10:24-25; Colossians 3:16; Proverbs 27:17).

  • We strive to foster a Spirit-filled, loving community, dedicated to making apprentices and submitting to the leadership of the elders.

We will worship God, in our Potlucks, through prayer, adoration, singing, and intercession (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Timothy 2:8).

We will attentively listen to God’s message through the preaching of His Word, silence, meditation, and communion (Romans 10:17; Psalm 46:10; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

We will engage with one another through the sacraments of baptism, sharing testimonies, and meaningful discussions (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:42-47; Revelation 12:11).
